I draw directly on the computer to develop the majority of my work, scan in other material of mine such as collages, pastel drawings, photographs, etc, and then use a painter program to build up the final picture.  The image is then printed digitally or transferred onto fabric which I stitch and/or embellish, usually by hand, but sometimes also by machine.  Some pieces are framed in clear acrylic boxes; the larger forms hang unframed as quilts, and others sketched in stitch left unframed.

I like the idea of making work to fit into a domestic setting, work which can be lived with, and which can evoke different responses according to the mood of the viewer.
